The annual Graduate Research Forum at the University of Central Florida showcases graduate student research representing UCF’s diverse colleges and disciplines. The website for this event features all the presenters, their research abstracts, and the event floor plan.

For the past eight years this website was done using Adobe Flash, but for this year I challenged myself to create a new site in just a few days. The main goal of the redesign was to be able to view the site on mobile devices. Additionally, the content would be generated and styled automatically from an XML file. To accomplish this I created a JavaScript web app that parsed the XML file and generated a valid HTML file with the CSS classes and ids that I created beforehand. This content was then brought into a jQuery Mobile template that provided a clean and simple UI for both desktop and mobile devices.

Posters to inform students about the rules of use of the Barbara Ying Center meeting room. They include my own illustrations to facilitate understanding for non-English speaking students.

Research Paper 2.0- This website was created to present, in a non-traditional manner, my research on the different uses of Twitter. By showcasing my research in this manner I was able to take advantage of the Twitter API to display feedback from Twitter users.

User interface design for the web application used by students who visit the International Services Center at the University of Central Florida. The application was developed in-house by the College of Graduate Studies IT Department in ASP.NET. For this project I was in charge of styling the front and back-ends using CSS3.

Executive Search International is an executive search firm dedicated to integrity and professionalism. With their complete website redesign they wanted a site that represented these values. ESI wanted to ensure that their website was compatible with desktop and mobile browsers, and that it could be easily updated by their staff.

For this project I utilized WordPress as a content management system, and styled it using CSS. Furthermore it was enhanced it with CSS3 and JavaScript.
